Hotel obviously made with washed money. Huge investment in the middle of nowhere. Hotel was owned by 2003-2015 president of Argentina. Hotel made with the missing food of many young kids in Argentina.

Excellent attention. Nice location. Free transfers to the center. The restaurant Barlovento inside the hotel is super recommended.
The bad: The pools with children that make a lot of fuss. You can't relax or rest. You hear a lot of the noise from the other rooms.

It is the best location in Calafate for a hotel you see the whole city, the hotel is impeccable the maintenance the service of the staff is painstaking, meticulous cleanliness, and absolute peace in that location, the only thing to reinforce is the breakfast according to the category not if Habr It's been brief for being low season. Do not miss the chopped barovento with cheap smoked salmon and super abundant pity that only served until 20.

Very comfortable quiet, two indoor heated pools, dry and humid sauna, both operate, has a functional gym. Good restaurant, affordable prices. The parking lot is confusing and it's uncovered. Reception staff is not enough when guests enter.

Cosy Hotel, with swimming pool and Spa, with quiet atmosphere and elegant style, a spectacular view from most rooms. The only suggestion is that the beds should be larger, the one I got was 1 square and also they don't leave even 01 bottle free of water, it is quite removed from the center, but it has transfers all day to and from the hotel.

5-Star Hotel! Really very good! All excellent… pool… breakfast… dinner… lunch… Spa! The only thing that didn't turn out very well were the massages… because there was masseuse! Or, or rescuing that detail… 10 points!

It's a cozy place with an amazing view. It has an excellent restaurant with typical local dishes. The pool is huge and also has a spa area that is very good. The staff is very attentive. It is ideal to rest and relax and enjoy.

Hotel Expectacular. The view is amazing. It is far from the village of Calfate but the same hotel provides free transportation to the village without problem. The spa is fantastic and they have indoor swimming pool.

Very good location and excellent shuttle service to downtown from 10.00 till 23.30 hours with a beautiful view of Lago Argentino and comfortable facilities to relax when you return to recreational activities. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It has comfortable facilities, 2 heated pools, and a Spa area.
Although it is retired from the center of El Calafate, it offers a shuttle service all day (free of charge) between the Hotel and the centre.

Nice location, very good shuttle service to the center every hour. Wake-up service forget, if you trust you can miss a hike. Small but well maintained room and very comfortable bed. I play on the 1st floor and there's an alarm that sounds every 15 minutes unbearable. It has some detail like x example all the chairs of the reception which is very large completely expired… a pity. Anyway it is recommended for price relationship. Food only dined 1 time and I found it very good. And the breakfast is the best of the hotel, really excellent, only should put natural fruit juices and not cardboard, but the rest is noteworthy and the attention of the breakfast staff also very good.

Great hotel with all the services which you could think of and much more! The rooms are spacious with excellent views for most. The hotel's restaurant is excellent! We tried the cordero (lamb) for two at a decent 245 pesos. Spa, sauna, heated pools are all available and free for guests. Massages are paid for. There is a small gift shop. We did love the big fire place.

Spent three nights at Alta Calafate hotel. Rooms were nice, good overall experience and five minute taxi to downtown El Calafate.

It has a wonderful view of Lago Argentino and Calafate itself. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, decoration is beautiful. They have delicious breakfast everyday. Wifi service isn't too fast.

Great views, a bit far from city centre but the shuttle every hour is great to be connected to Calafate. The spa and gym are nice and the breakfast is quite varied and extensive hours opened. The rooms are decent…

The view from most of the rooms is great! Rooms are spacious, facilities are very good, especially the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast selection is delicious. High speed Wi-Fi always available.

Others prefer great place but this maybe has the best view of the Lake than any other hotel. It is the famous hotel of CFK everything what you have is a lie the place is fantastic and is open year-round.

It is the best of Calafate structurally
Too bad:
-There is always to be set aside to eat
-bad bias and ignorance of staff
-cold water of the pool
-Wi-Fi is connected but it never works well
-PC with Wi-Fi function badly (has still Window XP)
-listening much to the other rooms.
-the worst was when I went to dinner without reservation, they gave me two options and after choosing again another person saying that we could not sit since it was already booked… In particular "invited us" to go. The truth is that are a disaster in the Organization, a pity because it is a nice hotel, shame those who administer it.

Absolutely a stunning views to the lake. It has 103 beautiful spacious rooms, spa with two lovely siwmming pools with lake view. Breakfast included. Restaurant offers nice menu. Staff extremely friendly, they assisted me to get an adaptor charger for my laptop. General manager and overall staff had the wonder factor: smile. Really liked the service and helpfulness. It is not close to the city centre but who care, they run shuttle every hour free of charge.

I think do not deserve the political comments here are comments on the hotel… and the hotel really magnificent far calafate hotel gastronomy is excellent, spotless rooms and views magnificent.

I think it should be free and service to the Argentine people, since each of the workers contributed, and stole them to build the hotel, which apparently is wonderful, what can be committing crimes with the money of the workers, most with the millions that I wash this hotel deserves to be a wonder of the world.

The hotel in general, the rooms, the spa and the breakfast excellent. The restaurant service is lousy. Food portions very small and expensive. Except for that, I give it a 10. The view is great. The wi fi, now in 2015 it works pretty well.
